David Gladwin

David Gladwin grew up in rural Derbyshire and now lives in Beverley, East Yorkshire. His work addresses culture and society, and his short stories have been published by Wensum Literary Magazine, Nailed and The Blue Nib. He is a Trustee of the East Riding Theatre and a regular contributor of landscape and memoir pieces to the Echtrai Journal. Coldwell is his first novella.

Alan Edward Roberts

Alan Edward Roberts was born in Liverpool, England in 1973. He was educated in Windsor, Bournemouth and Coventry. He set up a theatre company in 1997 and toured seven plays at venues around the UK (and he wrote and directed each of them). In July 2019, Road Song Books published his debut novel, The Magpie. In 2020, he followed this book up with a short story collection, A Century of Storms, and his second novel Cerberus in 2022. He is also a travel writer who writes under the name Ed Roberts. He launched Road Song Books as a company in 2025, with the summer release of David Gladwin’s Coldwell. 

Estelle Phillips

Estelle Phillips is a writer and performance poet. She lives in Wiltshire with her dog. Into My Arms, published by Road Song Books, is her debut novella.

Lisa Williams

Lisa Williams is a writer and artist from Leicester. She has an MA in Creative Writing and specialises in drabbles. The Longest Day, published by Road Song Books, is her debut novella.
